When we [our computer] analyze each of the
30 stocks, the bulk of the work [the mathematics] takes place - this is
where we get real information, which actually, ultimately moves the Dow.
This is all done automatically by our computer, taking into account
short-term volume, money flow, accumulation, distribution, and bid-side
volume-analysis, which determines the power balance in a stock between
the buyers [bulls] and sellers [bears/shorts]...
Moreover, we are actually studying the
intricate building blocks, within each and every one of the 30
independent stocks which makes up [and moves] the Dow. This is the only
way to get an early signal of an impending Dow Rally or Decline. And it
works. No other system/method, in our experience, comes close in terms
of performance.
If a high number of stocks are trending up [over 70%], it is very likely the market [Dow] is running out of steam. Similarly, if a very low number of stocks are trending up [less than 30%], it is expected that the market has flushed out the negativity, and will begin to rally. We simply wait for the right 'signal'...
Two simple rules: As soon as the Inter Market Strength [IMS, or xTrend] indicator starts to rise from below 30, we buy [long] the Dow. As soon as the indicator starts to drop from over 70, we sell [short] the Dow. We also have 'Stay Short', 'Stay Long', 'Exit & No Trade', and 'No Trade' signals, all of which are explained in our quick-guide, accessible from the main members area screens.
